JOB DESCRIPTION

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I'm a lady in my 80's living in Llantwit Major area. I have tremors plus experience dizziness and I can fall over. I am also under the memory clinic. I like to chat and I got a very good sense of humour. I enjoy doing jigswas, codeword, puzzles and games. I love my garden and used to read a lot. I am looking for support in the home, over time we may go into the community.

PURPOSE OF JOB

I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me within my home and support me to maintain independent.

HOURS OF WORK
3.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday availability

These hours will NOT be worked in one block

RATES OF PAY
£14.20 per hour

TASKS INVOLVED

Ensure I am safe
Provide support around my home
Household chores
Meal preparation
Support with daily tasks
Keep me company

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Someone proactive
PA to be friendly and chatty
PA to have a good sense of humour
Someone who is sensitive and has an understanding of my conditions
PA to have full driving licence, own vehicle with business class insurance

ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
