JOB OVERVIEW
Study Group is looking for Partner Visa Manager to join the Visa Operations team.

In this role you will ensure that Study Group is fully prepared to issue Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) in line with any partner University requirements and remainscompliant with regard to its obligations as they relate to the issuing of Student visas to maintain a track record of exemplary compliance on behalf of the relevant partner University.


You will also have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the UK business and relevant University partners to provide guidance and expertise for staff for all matters concerning CAS issuance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage partner Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) issuance on behalf of one or more University partners.
  • Collaborate with any relevant University partner staff, and act as a designated point of contact, to maintain the process related to UKVI and student visa compliance as it pertains to CAS issuance.
  • Develop and implement a robust management information suite pertinent to UKVI compliance in order to inform Senior Management and the relevant Steering Committee of operational progress on partner CAS issuance with a particular focus on UKVI Compliancetrends or risks.
  • Uphold all relevant regulatory metrics to maintain Sponsor Licence requirements (e.g. Basic Compliance Assessment criteria).
  • Attend any relevant Committees/Forums to oversee CAS issuance in relation to regulatory requirements and partner University expectations.
  • Manage relevant training platform programme and deliver any required training either in person or online. Ensure that any changes to the programme are implemented in a timely manner. Some of the training will be delivered in person and therefore travellingwill be required;
  • Collaborate with the Partner CAS Team Manager to develop and implement a robust training and awareness schedule for relevant internal stakeholders;
  • Proactively maintain a personal understanding of UKVI and immigration legislation with a view to understanding the implications for the organisation, and developing and implementing process change plans with relevant partner Universities as required;
  • Provide an expert point of contact for staff on the process of partner CAS issuance and any particular local arrangements in place for a given University partner.
  • Document local partner CAS processes, whilst working with internal stakeholders to build these into existing 'Business As Usual' processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience in a similar role within a University/school environment
  • UKCISA or equivalent immigration training or Continuing Professional Development
  • Indepth knowledge of the UKVI policies and procedures in relation to UK immigration in the education sector
  • Experience in using the UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS) not simply as a user but also in a supervisory capacity
  • Able to demonstrate uptodate sector training on immigration requirements
  • Familiarity with one or more Student Record Systems (e.g. SITS, Banner etc.)
