Then the Storesperson Operative position could be the role you are looking for

Duties:

As a Storesperson Operative your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of enquiries for prices and delivery dates as and when required
  • Raising requisitions for items required for stock and against Work Orders. Progress of all Purchas Orders to confirm suppliers are complying with quoted delivery dates
  • Checking Order acknowledgements are correct against Purchase Orders
  • Responsible for accepting all deliveries of stock Items. This includes ensuring that they are not damaged and comply with Purchase Order requirements; everything ordered is present and accounted for issuing component parts to Production floor.
  • Raise Goods Received Notes (GRN)
  • Stock taking as and when required, weekly snap checks of stock held
  • Issue of materials to Shop Floor and Cutting Shop
  • Fork lift driving as and when required
  • Issue of chemicals to Production Shop Floor each morning and returning chemicals to chemical store each evening
  • The raising of Reject Q Notes for rejected items: raising of Stores Issue Notes
  • Issue of all consumable items to Production Shop Floor
  • Weighing and marking of all rubber and fabric materials on delivery
  • General running of Goods Inwards, Bonded Store, Chemical Store
  • Material Control: action GRN's and Stores Issues on computer system (SAGE)
  • Checking Invoices against Purchase Orders and GRNs to confirm prices and quantities agree
  • Pricing of stock taking sheets
  • Safety and security of stock
  • Assisting in packing and despatch duties
  • Other duties as and when required

About you

  • An ability to work collaboratively with others, but can also work individually
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to follow instructions, maintaining a good work ethic in a professional manner
  • Flexibility for low demand periods where other tasks may require support
  • Solution based thought process
  • Excellent attention to detail, and take pride in their work
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Hours of work - 40 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:30pm and Friday 08:00am - 12:00pm
