Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the construction and property company based in Edinburgh.

The organisation is based in the city centre and key responsibilities will incude:


  • Daily banking uploads & online payments including international transfers
  • Diligent posting of manual transactions and frequent reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Maintaining monthly direct debit procedures
  • Maintaining daily bank reconciliations
  • Processing supplier invoices & uploading contractor payments
  • Transfer deposit funds
  • Entering and reconciling credit card payments
  • Processing of monthly payment runs and the issuing of monthly statements
  • Maintaining client float accounts to match expenditure as required
  • Reconciliation of the arrears report and following our arrears collection process
  • Assist with year end audit procedures and annual client account health checks
  • Assisting with the implementation of automation and robust controls to drive efficiencies
  • General financial administration to assist the wider finance team as required

About you

  • Previous accounts / client accounts experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills both internally and with external suppliers
  • Good level of Excel knowledge
  • Prior experience in a client accounts environment would be advantageous

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
