Job description:

Axon Moore are exclusively working with a successful and growing manufacturer in Blackburn, to recruit an experienced Transactional Team Leader.

This is a unique role which will offer a high degree of autonomy and as such requires a strong leader to take ownership of finance team and ensure workload is evenly distributed and all required daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Other responsibilities include:

Day to day management of the team of four
Maintain ledgers and systems for all group trading companies including overseas subsidiaries
Ensure all month end procedures are completed to produce accurate company and cost centre trial balances
Maintain the accounting ledgers and systems for all group trading companies including overseas subsidiaries with responsibility for ensuring accurate trial balances are produced each month.
Ensure bank reconciliations intercompany reconciliations are completed
Ensure appropriate reporting of prepayments and accruals
Ensure all stock reconciliations and journals are accurately completed
Oversight to ensure the accurate reporting within the daily sales report
Preparation of quarterly VAT reports for all group trading companies and submission of VAT returns.
Such other tasks as to ensure the efficient and timely operation of the finance function.
