Guildford

Full time, permanent

Salary:
£30-35k DOE
They are now looking for a
Production Controller who will oversee and coordinate the production process, activities and operations.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the customers' orders are completed on time and that the quality standards and targets are met.

Production Controller_,_** responsibilities:

Planning and drawing up a production schedule with the factory and Production Manager
Managing productivity rates, KPI's and product standards for the production department
Monitoring ERP system for the accurate representation of the production and stock levels as well as identifying potential holdups
Liaising with different departments and teams (on all levels) but also with customers and suppliers
Working with Managers/Supervisors to implement the company's policies and goals including Health and Safety guidelines
Analysing data and preparing requested reports
Supervising and motivating the team, review its performance and recognise training needs
Ensuring that the LEAN principles are applied towards continuous improvement in the factory

Production Controller, skills/person:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or similar role
Production engineering background within a manufacturing company and busy and demanding environment
Good understanding of MRP systems is necessary
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and principals as well as material control is essential
Proactive and a team player with strong leadership skills and proven ability to develop others
Organised and natural problem solver
