Description
Simplyhealth is a 150-year-old business with an amazing heritage and history of changing healthcare in the UK.

We're continually modernising, as reflected by the recent award to B-Corp status; something that is very important to our customers and to our people.

We have 2 million customers across our Health and Dental products and with an ever-increasing strain on the NHS, and a cost-of-living crisis, the products that Simplyhealth offer are needed more than ever before.

But Simplyhealth have bigger ambitions than that.

We're on a mission to improve access to healthcare for everyone in the UK to help people live their best lives.

We're on the hunt for an Events Executive to join the team and get involved in assisting the planning and delivery of events across Simplyhealth

This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract and you'll work on a wide range of events, including hospitality, charity, conferences, and more This role will give you great exposure to the event lifecycle across a varied calendar of events.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with an Events team of 5 to ensure campaigns and communications are delivered consistently and executed well across the business.
  • Administration and coordination work, particularly to support the Senior Events Executive who you'll report into. Use of systems including Cvent (Event Management software)
  • Liaise with both vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure each campaign and event is pulled together seamlessly.
  • Handson support on a range of events, large and small.
  • Ownership to manage smaller events, with support from your team

We're interested in what you do and how you do things, not when and where you do them. Our 'smart working' approach gives you the best of all worlds - working from home, in our modern offices in Hampshire or on the move. For many of us, this means day to day work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more. For this role in particular, there will be a requirement to travel to events that you're attending/hosting and that will at times come with overnight stays, evening and weekend work.

Your process

  • Screening call with one of the Talent team
  • Online verbal and numerical aptitude assessment
  • Interview with colleagues from the Events team at Andover office
