Our client have an exciting opportunity for an
Helpdesk Engineerto join the existing team in
Barnsley. You will join them on
a full time, permanant basis, and in return, you will receive a
competitive salary.

They are currently seeking the very best people, to further strengthen their position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success.


The Helpdesk Engineer role:


As an
Helpdesk Engineer, your role will entail the diagnosis of helpdesk incidents and to either resolve the ticket to the owner's satisfaction or escalate it to the appropriate team member.


The key responsibilities of their Helpdesk Engineer will include:

  • Fulfilling standard requests using documented processes and procedures
  • Completing incidents and requests in line with current skills and abilities
  • Building laptops/tablets/PCs
  • Equipment installation over company sites
  • Building phones with mobile management software
  • Resolving technical issues
  • Working on the shift and/or rota as determined by their manager in a consistent manner

To meet the requirements of their Helpdesk Engineer
you must have:

  • Experience of multiple Windows platforms and Active Directory
  • Server, PC, and Printer component maintenance
  • Experience of building devices from operating system up
  • Vmware, Veeam, SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, 365 Admin, SharePoint
  • all desirable. A good understanding of customer service, to promote professional conduct and company values internally and externally
  • Analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Due to shift work own transport would be advantageous
  • The ability to work 6am
  • 7pm on a 3 Shift 3 Week rotation. Earlies, Mids and Lates
