Description
The client guarantees that this role will be made Head of Tax within 18 months.


Responsibilities:


  • Taking ownership of the tax function and acting as the main point of contact for tax related queries
  • International tax projects and compliance
  • Liaising with third party advisors to ensure that compliance is filed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Getting involved with ad hoc advisory projects
  • Management of VAT, Corporate Tax and Employment Tax for the group

Requirements:


  • ACA and/or CTA qualified from Big 4 with exposure to financial services preferred but not required
  • Thorough corporate tax experience across both compliance and advisory
  • Experience with VAT and particularly partial exemption
  • Understanding or keen interest in Employment Tax
  • Personable and good at managing relationships both internally and externally
