Description
This is a 0600 to 1800 and 1800 to 0600 position. Dayshift and Nightshift.

As a Security Customer Liaison Officer, you will be the first point of contact for any tenants and visitors entering the building.

This role always requires you to be friendly and alert whilst on duty.

You should be both welcoming and representative of the 'five-star' feel of the building and the client we are representing whilst maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

Be responsive to the client's needs and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services.

Must be pro-active in your duties, be able to work on your own initiative and work well with others as part of a diverse team.

Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and demanding situations.

Able to work as a part of a diverse integrated team - including cleaning, FOH, engineering - with a one team approach to deliver a best-in-class service provision for our customer and occupiers.

Have a can-do ethos and attitude.


Health & Safety Purpose:


  • To ensure that the site is safe and secure, raising any health and safety concerns with the SSM in a timely manner.
  • To ensure that OCS's Health and Safety policy and procedures are always adhered to.
  • To act as a first aider, once qualified.
  • Act as incident controller when required and in SSM absence.

Your main responsibilities may also include:

  • Working closely with the FOH team you will provide a 'Meet and greet' function whilst on post at the front of house. Providing a warm welcome to our property.
  • Working closely with the FOH team to deliver place making events and commercialisation.
  • Liaising with occupier facilities team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing parking and other tasks associated with the smooth running of the property.
  • Respond to incidents, alongside SSM, ensuring incidents are reported and resolved efficiently.
  • Ensuring all visitors and contractors are inducted to site and relevant documentation is in place
  • Good knowledge of health and safety including RAMS and Permits.
  • Challenge poor H&S practises.
