Senior Finance Associate (12-month FTC)

Finance is currently heavily involved in the EMPowered project which will see the firm's core Finance systems replaced with S/4 HANA and other new systems integrated alongside.

This change will be the biggest transformation the firm has seen in 15 years and it is vital that the Finance teams scale up operations to help support the business in the successful roll out of these new systems.


What will you be doing?


You will be working across the Finance
OEH teams (primarily the Finance and Engagement Management Helpline and Engagement Finance Champions) to provide a mix of first and second line support to the business when several new Finance systems are launched across the UK firm.


  • Process, administration and semitechnical queries and requests which are outside the scope of EXL and other Finance support teams, using the team's workflow management system to log and track queries through to resolution.
  • Develop a highlevel understanding of Finance systems, integrations and processes.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in a number of areas, but in particular for Profinda and Twenty5, ensuring training and education opportunities are fulfilled within the support teams and across the business, if necessary.
  • Be an advocate for change programmes delivered by Finance / KBS, including automation tools, selfservice, standardisation and any other changes in ways of working.
  • Support the Helpline and EFC management teams in all matters, including compliance and education around relevant Financerelated processes and policies, escalating deviations, where necessary.
  • Keep team Knowledgebases and process documentation up to date.
  • Training/mentoring of junior and new members of the team.
