Full time, 3 days a week together out of our Birmingham Hub (flexible 2 days remote wherever). We may consider London, Bristol or Manchester.

Role Accountabilities:


  • Prototyping and Wireframing: Creating lowfidelity and highfidelity prototypes and wireframes to visualize and test design concepts.
  • Visual Design: Creating aesthetically pleasing interfaces aligned to design best practices and digital brand guidelines.
  • Interaction Design: Designing the interactions and behaviors of a product, ensuring it's intuitive and userfriendly.
  • Information Architecture: Structuring and organizing information and content for easy navigation and understanding.
  • Usability Testing: Conducting usability tests to gather user feedback and refine designs accordingly.

  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to align design strategies with broader business goals and objectives.
  • Professional Development: Actively seek opportunities for professional growth and be open to receiving mentorship from senior designers to enhance design knowledge and skill set.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

Required:


  • A minimum of 23 years of experience as Product Designer/UX Designer (or in similar roles).
  • The ability to take a project from inception to completion, continuously enhancing the customer experience.
  • Previous experience working within lean and agile teams.

A foundation in UX design principles is key. Understand how users interact with interfaces, including navigation, information architecture, and usability testing.

  • Design Tools: Proficiency in design software and tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Mural, Sketch etc.

Strategic Thinking:
Support the alignment of design strategies with the company's broader business goals and objectives.

  • Feedback Handling: Openness to giving and receiving feedback constructively to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Design System Knowledge: Clear understanding of design systems and proficiency in using design libraries and components effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
