Description

Stock control to assist in the ordering of any supplies required and to ensure stock is appropriately stored, rotated and controlled.

To establish and maintain effective communication links with all staff teams and other service providers. To actively promote the importance of good housekeeping practices amongst all housekeepers. Completing relevant checklists and other paperwork related to the role.

Supervising staff in line with Trust policies and procedures; including absence, annual leave and performance.

To participate in the induction program for all new housekeepers in order to familiarise them with the expectations and remit of the Housekeepers role.

Support new members of staff and identify and allocate work buddy. Ensure that all mandatory training and Workplace Inductions are completed in a timely fashion.


Assist with the preparation of staff rotas ensuring fair distribution and allocation of duties whilst allowing for staff leave and other absences.
