Description

Our client is an established and expanding engineering organisation based in Halifax, and they are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team.


As a Key Accounts Manager your role will primarily focus on providing customer account management functions to several key customers; selling and supporting the service proposition, including new replacement equipment.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the needs of the customer and providing solutions to problems.
  • Following up enquiries and organising customer appointments.
  • Attending customer account review meetings.
  • Regularly providing customer key performance indicators / metrics.
  • Suggesting further proposition improvements based on the needs of the customer.
  • Achieving sales and margin targets.
  • Ensuring all customer complaints relating to service support functions are resolved and completed in a timely manner.
  • Supporting new equipment sales proposition where applicable.
  • Proactively generating new enquiries for key customers in all markets.


As a Key Account Manager, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously but also as part of the team.


This role will be based in Halifax, however you may need to travel to visit customers as part of the role, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to become an integral team member.
