Who are we?


Since 2010 ND Care & Support have provided a range of bespoke domiciliary care and community care services for children, young adults, adults and older people throughout Wales.

We are a registered member of the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).


About the role:


As a Community Support Care Worker, you will be required to support and deliver our offering of sessional care services to children and Adults who have additional support needs due to learning, and / or physical disabilities, or poor mental health.


You will be required to:


  • Build and develop independent living skills such as cooking, shopping and encouraging them to pay for their items
  • Promote social development by supporting the individual to attend activities, such as bowling, swimming and going to the cinema
  • Promote wellbeing
  • Support with a health balanced diet
  • Provide companionship

As a Care Assistant with ND Care & Support, your hard work and commitment will be rewarded in a number of ways


You will receive:


  • New starter bonus of £250
  • Paid travel and waiting time up to 30 minutes
  • Paid mileage on support sessions (40p per mile)
  • 12 hours shifts
- £12.00ph weekdays and £12.50ph on weekends

  • Full visits / calls paid, not minute by minute
  • Refer a Friend bonus of £150 for you and your friend if they join us
  • Have previous care experience. This is desirable but not essential, as full ongoing training and support will be provided
  • Be a caring and compassionate person, with a passion for supporting the most vulnerable people in our community
  • Have a calm and flexible approach to work
  • Have a full driving license, access to a vehicle, and business insurance
  • Be happy to travel in the community to provide care and support
  • Be able to commit to set sessions each week
