This Assistant Accountant role will give you a foot through the door into a growing organisation with great employee perks
This organisation is based in Ashbourne.

Initially, the role will be for 3-4 months on a fixed-term contract, but if you are successful in this role there may be further opportunities.

There are a variety of duties in this role including the following

  • Supporting with the monthend accounting where required
  • Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
  • BACS payments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supplier statements
  • Matching and coding VAT returns
Your role will allow you to take on a wide variety of duties and expand on your current skills.

They are looking for someone to join their team long-term and have the opportunity to study and progress within the organisation.

With the business continuing to grow, they can offer you a wide scope to progress and a competitive salary.

To succeed in this role, you will be either AAT qualified or studying towards your ACA/ACCA/CIMA, and have experience in ledger work and general bookkeeping.
