Description

My Client requires a Permanent Production Supervisor for a busy factory based in Lisburn.

Hours of work: 8am - Finish

Rate of pay:

- £25,000- £30,000 depending on experience

Duties:

Ensure that the HACCP system is in operation at all times.
Ensure tracker sheets for next day production are completed in an orderly and timely fashion.
Manage production operatives and ensure they are carrying out jobs to daily work schedules.
Ensure Production schedules are effectively communicated to all staff.
Liaising with other members of your team to complete orders.
Ensuring production paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely fashion.
Report any quality issues to Quality department.
Managing and monitoring production efficiencies'.
Ensure wastage documents on both food and packaging are completed and forwarded to Quality department.
Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the workplace.
Making best use of materials and equipment.
Maintaining Hygiene, Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Ensuring that machines are operating properly and in good working order.
Ensure machine change overs are conducted in line with operating procedures.
Reporting any faults with machines to the Managing Director.
Working under instructions from management.
Any other duties to help the overall performance of the company and at the request of management.
It may be necessary to fill in and help out in different departments, when staff are sick or on annual leave.

Essential Criteria:

Have one years production management experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Proven ability to lead a team
Experience in food safety

No late nights involved

Due to clients location applicants must have their own transport
