Weymouth College:

Apprenticeship Training Coordinator - General Assessor:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Apprenticeship Team due to our growing provision; we are looking to appoint an experienced Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinator or industry professional with experience in assessing, monitoring and supporting apprentices through their apprenticeship journey.

At Weymouth College, it is our Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinators who deliver fantastic training and develop real bonds with both apprentices and employers.

We provide training within the work place and at our own premises.

Working within the Apprenticeship Team you will be responsible for delivering excellent training and mentorship to apprentices to help them achieve their chosen qualification in placements around the Dorset area.

This will include setting personalised learning plans to motivate and inspire apprentices to achieve and progress onto higher levels of study and/or career progression.

There will be a requirement to conduct workplace assessments to monitor development and generating evidence to assist with the Gateway and End Point Assessment requirements.

A collaborative team player, you will be able to quickly build strong and effective relationships across the College as well as demonstrating good organisational skills.

Applicants may be interested in full or part time hours and we are keen to hear from you if you have a flexible approach to work.

You will not need to be teacher or assessor trained or have any formal educational experience as the College will support you to develop the necessary skills or undertake relevant qualifications.

  • This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process._
