We are looking for a Gift Aid Executive to support the processing of accurate and compliant Gift Aid claims, ensuring donor data is up to data in CRM systems.

You don't have to have worked with Gift Aid before, we are looking for a detail orientated individual with great excel and systems knowledge.

You might come from a retail or, operations background or have experience in payment processing.

You could be someone keen to take their first step into a finance role, as you will be working closely with the Finance Operations teams.

If you are interested in learning more about finance, or pursuing a career in finance, then there is an opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification - AAT.

What will I be doing?- To carry out the day to day requirements of Gift Aid claim administration, generating data, completing testing criteria, cleansing data, adapting and managing issues to gain claim sign off- To produce analytical reporting from claims testing highlighting any areas of concern and possible training requirements and knowledge gaps in processing teams from claim testing- Produce relevant reporting to assist in communicating Gift Aid income levels and take up rates, whilst promoting the importance of Gift Aid as an income generator- Ensure accurate and up to date documentation and support materials are in place for Gift Aid across teams, that it is version controlled and is in line with the charities systems and HMRC regulations- To help educate Income processing teams and monitor information input to ensure that Gift Aid regulatory requirements are adhered to by all staff- Support the Gift Aid Compliance and Engagement Manager, where required, in ensuring Gift Aid policies and procedures are followed correctly


What skills will I need?- Previous experience working with database systems- Advanced experience of Excel- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing, face to face, and by telephone with a wide-ranging audience including supporters.- Highly numerate with an analytical approach to problem solving- Strong excel skills and confidence with data manipulation with the ability to turn data into insights- Effective time management and organisational skills- Can follow set processes and procedures, meet deadlines, maintain strong attention to detail and effectively manage expectations.

- Knowledge and understanding of Gift Aid and HMRC regulations (desirable)
