2 Sisters Food Group are recruiting for an organized and diligent Production Planner to join our meals manufacturing operation based in Grimsby.

About The Role:


Reporting into the Operations Support Manager, the Production Planner will be responsible for ensuring the production schedule/plan is on-time and running smoothly between departments.


Duties of the role will include:

  • As part of the planning team, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained so production teams are not waiting for materials.
  • Maintaining stock targets and scheduling raw materials to meet the production plan.
  • Ensuring medium to longterm forecasts are maintained to ensure product and material availability.
  • Following up with suppliers regarding quality issues, rejections, and returns.
  • Updating the schedules to include the latest sales information and production plans.


This will be a busy role offering plenty of opportunities for growth and progression as we work to support an exciting new customer.


About You:

To excel in this Production Planner role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Prior experience of working in a planning role, ideally in manufacturing with food/FMCG being preferred.
  • Ideally with experience of using SAP.
  • Highly organised and able to adapt in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
