  • Job description

  • A vacancy has arisen for two (2) Domestic Abuse specialist researchers to work within Wiltshire Police's Domestic Abuse Support Team (DAST). The DAST team are responsible for providing critical Domestic Abuse safeguarding functions for the force, including quality assurance of PPN reports, delivering training and coordination of ancillary orders, the administration and coordination for the Wiltshire Multi Agency Risk Assessment conference (MARAC) and the delivery of the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS)._
  • The research role will assist the team in a number key areas, including_
- _ Co-ordination and administration of the weekly MARAC, where high risk Domestic Abuse cases are discussed. _
- _To oversee the performance framework for MARAC_
- _ To support the administration and delivery of the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme for Wiltshire and Swindon, including conducting detailed research to facilitate the disclosure making process. _
- _Supporting the wider DAST team to deliver a high quality safeguarding service_
  • These posts are being advertised as a Full Time (37 hours per week)._ _Secondments may be considered._
