Cloud Architect - Multi-Cloud - Azure / AWS / GCP
This is an exciting new opportunity to join one of the finest UK based management consultacy firms.

In this role, you will be responsible for underpinning good development processes including managing tools and testing environments, central code control,maintaining development standards and architecting software that automates systems.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a rich combination of experience, proven skills and personal attributes.


Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Azure and / or AWS and / or GCP.
  • Recent experience in working with CI/CD processes and tooling from code repositories such as GitLab/GitHub, continuous integration e.g. Jenkins and artefact repositories e.g. Nexus.
  • Experience of designing, implementing, supporting and using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
  • Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and proven ability to use APIs to automate tooling, delivery pipelines and operational support.
  • Experience with templating tools (Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation,) to deploy infrastructure and images.
  • Good knowledge and handson experience of containerisation and the orchestration of them, preferably in the form of Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge and recent use of Linux Administration (preferably RHEL)
  • Keen interest in future technologies and the strategic direction of software and systems delivery to continually improve the service offered
  • Good communication, presenting, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Current valid SC clearance is essential for this role
