Description
Will know, maintain and constantly strive to improve, all standards of care. Ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with service users, carers/family members, other professionals and the wider community. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. Able to demonstrate evidence-based practice.

Ability to work in partnership with other teams and services Effective team player A belief in recovery, psychosocial interventions, engagement and the involvement of service users and carers in their care.
Can demonstrate a sound working knowledge of the whole system and relevant care pathways. A good understanding of mental health services, including relevant legislation (Mental Health Act, Capacity Act).
A clear understanding and commitment to the role and purpose of Emergency Service Pathways (Street Triage and the Section 136 Suite) A clear understanding of the professional role, both profession specific and the generic nature of a senior crisis practitioner.
Capacity to embrace change. Able to work across a full working week i.e. 7 days, 24 hours a day. Calm and confident with people who are in distress.
Reflective and considered approach to problem solving. An awareness of the limitations of the role and when to escalate to senior staff.
