POST- Recruitment are seeking an experiencedpart-time Bookkeeper for an independent professional services business based in Leeds City Centre.
You'll be joining a
very friendly, supportive team of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Sage 50 Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Assisting in completing VAT returns
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the External Accountant of any errors
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the External Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
- Assisting in the development of monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- Preparing employee wages
- Managing employee expense claims
- Helping the External Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- Other admin as required
What we need from you-:
- 3 + Years as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Clerk, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or equivalent
- Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or be working towards this
- Experience working on Sage 50 would be a benefit
What you'll get-:
- Up to £30,000 (fulltime equivalent)
- Pro Rata to the number of days agreed
- 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays Pro Rata to the number of days agreed
