POST- Recruitment are seeking an experienced
part-time Bookkeeper for an independent professional services business based in Leeds City Centre.

You'll be joining a
very friendly, supportive team of experienced professionals.


Responsibilities:


  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Sage 50 Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
  • Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances
  • Assisting in completing VAT returns
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the External Accountant of any errors
  • Recording any inconsistencies to help the External Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
  • Assisting in the development of monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Preparing employee wages
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Helping the External Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
  • Other admin as required

What we need from you-:

  • 3 + Years as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Clerk, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or equivalent
  • Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or be working towards this
  • Experience working on Sage 50 would be a benefit

What you'll get-:


  • Up to £30,000 (fulltime equivalent)
  • Pro Rata to the number of days agreed
  • 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays Pro Rata to the number of days agreed
