We're seeking a SIOP Leader for one of our customers, a leading provider of mission critical water and waste-water treatment solutions, offering a broad portfolio of products, services and expertise to support industrial, municipal and recreational customerswho value water.

Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) Leader
Accountable for delivering a balanced demand & supply plan across the supply chain by aligning volume, mix and portfolio changes with capacity and capability and integrating global financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improvedsourcing, operating and financial results.
As a key leader within the Operations staff, you will create a world-class SIOP function to support operational excellence as the business grows in the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership on EHS, Quality and Delivery while role modelling the company values of _Integrity_, _Customers_, _Sustainable_ and _Performance_.
- Responsible to lead a team including a Demand Planner and Order Managers and to support their motivation and development in line with our customer's growth enablers to create a highperformance culture in service of their customers.
- Responsible for coordinating and preparing data & material for themonthlySIOP meetings that will facilitate decisions around Offer, Demand, Supply, Capacity and Inventory planning and ensure that decisions are executed:
- Work closely with Sales and Operations on planning and executing the ramp-up and ramp-down of products as the portfolio evolves and making the connection between Demand & Inventory planning.
- Manage the aggregation of the Demand Plan from months interacting with Sales, Product Management and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Collaborate with peers within Operations to understand and develop available capacity across the internal and external supply chain to meet Demand and support the Sales teams with winning new orders to support growth plans.
- Create endtoend scenario planning to be able to commit supply as per the available capacity and components and assess the impact on customer service.
- Be responsible to identify strategic inventory to support the business growth while identifying excess and obsolete inventory and look for recycling opportunities to prevent any P&L impact.
- Responsible for leading the recovery when demand exceeds capacity:
- Propose recovery options to maintain the delivery commitments.
- Identify significant business risks and propose mitigation plan to the leadership teams.
- Responsible to integrate information from multiple functions to support Sales and Business Development activities that deliver valueadded growth.
- Clearly and concisely communicates with all business partners by simplifying complex situations enabling rapid decisionmaking and forward progress.
- Maintain a culture of learning and continuous improvement to regularly assess best practices and identify opportunities for improvements.
Competencies
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. Proven ability to work in a team environment between the functions of Operations, Customer, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing,and Finance, and interact regularly with senior management regarding goals and accomplishments
- Commercial experience would be beneficial, a commercial mindset essential.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities as well as attention to detail and a systemsthinking approach when making critical business decisions
- Energetic flexible, collaborative and proactive team leader who welcomes challenges and proactively seeks opportunities for improvement
- Project management skills with a track record of demonstrating accountability to deliver results
- Adaptable and comfortable operating in a changing environment and acting as a transformative leader
- Preferably the ability to communicate in both Dutch and English
Educational requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, Operations, or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of Supply Planning, Demand Planning, vendor forecasting experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle or other planning software packages.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Lean or Six Sigma training desirable.
- Knowledge of MRP planning.
