Key Responsibilities:
Provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive administrative service. Operate bring forward and reminder systems. To ensure good communication channels are maintained within the wider MASH Team.

Undertake word processing of all documents to a high standard, in an agreed Trust style and using an appropriate referencing system.

Utilise advanced level IT skills to create reports, spreadsheets and presentations. Develop and maintain filing systems (electronic and paper) to ensure effective access to relevant information. Prioritise own workload on a day-to-day basis to ensure that deadlines are met.

Act as a central point of contact for external and internal callers, making judgements regarding appropriate dissemination of key information.


Coordinate administrative arrangements relating to reporting requirements, to include the collation and presentation of documentation, preparing evidence and ensuring information is up to date.


Oversee the facilitation and administration of meetings/panels, including:
taking formal minutes that are intended for external review e.g. safeguarding, the production of agendas and coordination of papers, ensuring that key documents are available within defined timescales. Propose and implement changes to working practices to reflect the needs of the Service.

Respond to ad-hoc requests for information from other Trust sources as agreed by the Manager.

Co-ordinate absence/study leave Leadership Manage own workload as part of the team under the supervision of the MASH health professional Report all untoward incidents and assist with the development and implementation of appropriate action plans.

Meet with team members on a regular basis to discuss report and evaluate team processes and function.

Attend relevant meetings as delegated by the MASH health professional and be expected to feed back To support the team and service.

Training Attend relevant education and training programmes to maintain professional development and Trust requirements.

Access regular safeguarding supervision To assist with the induction of new staff as appropriate To participate in appraisal and the development of PDPs To attend relevant in-service training sessions to gain and maintain professional knowledge and meet mandatory training requirements To attend other training as identified within the PDP You will be expected to keep yourself updated on all matters related to Trust Policy Policy Ensure that individuals within the MASH health team are aware of and work within the NELFT policies and procedures.

Adhere to all local policies/procedures such as confidentiality, safeguarding and record keeping. Research & Development Participate in clinical and non
- clinical audit, research projects and/or innovations following agreed policy, protocol, and highlight to the team leader gaps in service which require auditing.

Participate in MASH evaluation and its effectiveness.

Freedom to Act Be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice and support when necessary.

Monitor and evaluate own service. Work within defined departmental, professional and organisational protocols, policies and codes of conduct.

Work independently, regularly seeking advice from MASH health professional as necessary. Participate in annual performance appraisal, and regular supervision.

Working Conditions/Environment To be aware of the risks and responsibilities whilst working in a variety of settings both within and outside of the Trust premises.
