About The Role


We are currently recruiting for a
full - time female Team Leader to join an existing care team to work with a gentleman who has a spinal cord injury living in his own home in the Chesterfield area.


Team Leader Duties:


You will be working within an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts and sleeping night shifts.

You will be supporting this gentleman in attaining his rehabilitation goals.

You must be flexible, enthusiastic, outgoing, have a positive outlook on life, and a caring attitude.

You will lead, supervise and manage the team on behalf of the client.


You will manage the day-to-day organisation of the team, organising rotas and a bank system, ensuring staff are familiar with and work to agreed policies and procedures in line with the care plan, managing reminders to staff regarding training, and general co-ordination in close co-operation with the Complexus Care Ltd Care Manager and Head Office.

You will act as a professional role model at all times.

You will communicate shift changes to the Care Manager and/or Head office, to ensure rotas are updated and accurate.

You will Plan, allocate and supervise the work of the care team, and produce monthly staff rotas. Organise and ensure cover for any gaps in the rota due to sickness, holidays, or other absences.


The shift times are as follows:

  • 7.30am
  • 8.30pm (long day shift weekdays)
  • 8.00am 9.00pm (long day shift weekend)


  • 8.30pm 8.00am (sleep shift Friday)


  • 8.30pm
  • 7.30am
(sleep shift Monday Thursday)

  • 9.00pm 8.00am (sleep shift Saturday)


  • 9.00pm
  • 7.30am
(sleep shift Sunday)
  • 8.00am am (double up weekends)
  • 7.30am
  • - 9.30am (double up weekdays)


    Rates of Pay:


    • Upon successful completion of competencies and training._

    Day rates:
    Monday - Friday - £17.00 per hour
    Saturday - Sunday - £18.70 per hour


    Waking night rates:
    Monday - Friday (20:00 - 23:00) - £17.50 per hour
    Saturday - Sunday (21:00 - 23:00) - £19.00 per hour


    Sleeping night rate:
    Monday - Sunday (23:00 - 07/08:00) - £10.50


    Non-smokers are preferred
    An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check
    WILL be required

    About You
    You will ideally have experience in a Team Leader role.

    You will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and trustworthy and you will work well as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative.

    Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial and a full driving licence would be preferred.
