Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000


Working with our client, modern firm of accountants, based in Middleton we are a looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their vibrant team.

Our client will support you in the role and your development and will offer Hybrid working, after training is completed.


Responsibilities:


  • Liaising directly with clients, answering their queries and providing ongoing business advice
  • Bookkeeping duties using computerised accounting systems
  • Sage and IRIS
  • Preparation and submission of accounts for review and finalisation
  • Process data, from client records, into accounting software
  • Produce accounts, from this information, to trial balance stage
  • Complete VAT Returns
  • Visit clients at their premises on occasion
  • Actively support and cooperate with other member of the team

Profile:


  • Looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant
  • Working in a practice background would be beneficial but not essential
  • Can be qualified, studying or qualified by experience
  • Must have strong IT and communication skills
