Description
We are currently recruiting for 3 x Handy Estates Assistant's to join a busy team within South Tyneside.


THE ROLE
You will be carrying out manual work to improve the standards of local areas, including:

  • Working in a variety of areas within the borough of South Tyneside.
  • Weeding Public Areas.
  • Keeping grassed areas maintained.
  • Clearing litter of local estates.
  • Working alone or in a team.

THE PERSON

  • Must be physically fit as will be carrying out physical working tasks.
  • Must be able to work alone or in teams to carry out work to improve local areas.
  • Must be able to carry out cleaning of local areas
  • Must have customer service skills as can be approached by the general public.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£10.79 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • South Shields, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
