Flexible People Ltd are looking for multiple warehouse operatives for the leading sofa retail specialist in the UK, based from their Bedford depot.


As a Warehouse Operative you will work in the warehouse unloading frames and materials that have been delivered to the factory in containers.

You will be responsible for loading delivery vans with furniture to be transported to stores for display or to Distribution centres for delivery to customer's home.

  • You should be willing to go the extra mile for our clients and service users to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Previous manual handling experience
  • You are preparing sofas to be delivered to customers homes, which come in all shapes and sizes, so you must be able and willing to repeatedly lift heavy sofas. The role will involve prolonged standing
  • Happy to help with other tasks that might not be part of your usual role you are one big team, so you will be required to work together to deliver to the customer. Therefore, you may be asked to perform other duties in the warehouse, or there may be opportunity to work as a driver's mate once established in your role
Shifts

The Warehouse operate on a Monday-Friday rota with shift times being 0800am-1700pm.

The rate of pay is £12.33ph incl holiday.

£12.33 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bedford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
