Casual Opportunities have arisen in a Children with Disabilities Short Overnight Breaks Home in East Lancashire. Based in Great Harwood 'Hilltop Lodge' is a brand-new, purpose-built building with all new equipment both inside and out.


As a Casual Residential Childcare worker (CRCCW) you will be employed on an 'as and when' needed basis to support the needs of the home mainly covering staff annual leave and sickness.

The role of an CRCCW is wide reaching and covers many of the aspects of caring for children in a residential setting, a role specification is available as well as a job description for more details.


The hours of work will include weekend work, evening work, and on occasion an overnight sleep-in duty for which a sleep-in allowance and enhanced rates of pay will apply.

Although this post does not require you to have your own vehicle, it does require all applicants to have a full UK driving licence.

Transporting our young people is an integral part of the role therefore the ability to drive our fleet vehicles is essential.
