TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED URGENTLY

START DATE:

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

LOCATION:

BIRMINGHAM
DAYS AND TIMES - MON-FRI:
LENGTH OF CONTRACT - IMMEDIATE TILL JULY 2023


MINIMUM

PAY:
£80 DAILY RATE
MUST BE ABLE WORK MONDAY TO FRIDAY 08:30 :15:30, NONE NEGOTIABLE

REED Education is working in collaboration with a Primary School based in Acocks Green, Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join them as soon as possible


The teaching assistant role is a rewarding job that provides a wealth of experience, to both the child and the adult.

A Teaching Assistant provides support within the classroom by either supporting teaching and learning within the classroom or by workingwith students in small groups.


Some of the day-to-day duties will include assisting with lesson plans, supporting children across the curriculum, providing extra assistance to children with special needs.

A "good" teaching assistant will be someone has who good communication skills andcan communicate clearly to teachers and students, can show compassion and sensitivity towards children and has a good understanding of the national curriculum.


  • Have a level 2 or Level 3 or an equivalent qualification
  • Have experience of supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
  • Have an in sight of supporting children with special educational needs
  • Seek to make learning enjoyable for keen, inquisitive minds
  • Be able to support EAL students
  • Be able to make a positive impact in and around the school setting
  • Form positive relationships with parents and guardians
  • Have a thorough understanding of the school safeguarding regulations
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £38 for a new check.
Please be aware that this role is due to start immediately/as soon as possible and to be considered for this role you MUST be able to work 5 days a week, this is none negotiable,
