***As a Graphic Designer on the talented team that makes up our in-house creative agency, ELC Studios, you'll be working closely with a team of creatives and alongside our prestigious beauty brands to concept, ideate and execute meaningful and impactful visual content and advertising across the Estée Lauder portfolio. Collaborating closely with art directors, photographers, videographers, designers and retouchers, you will be helping to lead our team towards creative excellence at our cutting-edge office and content studio, based in central London.


You will work within the Creative team ideating and designing graphic layouts, compositions, type treatments and aesthetics across our prestige beauty brands, from the bold and impactful to the mínimal and luxury.

With a background in Graphic Design you will deliver graphic designs and content creatively, on brief and on brand, contributing to ensuring we deliver best-in-class creative execution.


Working on a varied mix of briefs, from generating ideas and creating social content designs from scratch, artworking and presentation design, to storyboarding motion content, to designing for conceptual advertising and campaign work, you will create beautiful, captivating multi-channel design projects with a consumer-centric, strategic approach.


WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

  • Developing and delivering impactful, beautiful, cuttingedge designs, to enrich our brand storytelling, from initial designs and visualisation to execution and delivery. Supporting creative development throughout the project.
  • Working across a range of platforms and channels from instore (window artwork, lightboxes, lithos, pricing strips, POS) to online, social, print & OOH.
  • Able to flex across artworking projects and more creative tasks.
  • Working on concepts, through to design and technical detailing as well as editing existing typography, layout, composition and general design.
  • Ensuring a high quality of design work across all design projects.
  • Facilitate collaborative relationships between fellow Designers, Copywriters, Art Directors, Retouchers and Videographers.
  • Living and breathing our vision to create original, bestinclass work that speaks to its audience, informed by strategy, data and best practices, taking learnings from post campaign analysis and reporting.
  • Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and consistency across brand touchpoints in all their work and communicating to help to ensure consistency as a team.
  • Developing close relationships with Art Directors and brands to ensure the overarching vision is realised.
  • Working closely with Producers on projects towards the shared goal of delivering on time and on brief.
  • Presenting creative ideas and storyboards independently, communicating ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Collaborating with copywriters to ensure we are landing the right messaging.
  • Interrogating briefs and making creative recommendations.
  • Supporting the Art Direction team with photography projects, handson art direction when needed.
  • Owning quality control at final delivery.
  • Support Art Directors in creating detailed toolkit guideline documents for advertising campaigns, brand books and style guides.
  • Acting as an ambassador of creativity, contributing to the creative culture of the team by sharing emerging trends in design and culture.
  • Working with printers when required to ensure print quality and colour matching.
  • Being involved in the communication of guideline documents to thirdparty agencies.
  • Supporting all stakeholders in ensuring consistent and efficient processes.
  • Supporting other team members, onboarding freelancers.
  • Feeding back on creative processes and offering solutions to help the leadership team improve our ways of working.

Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE**- Ability to demonstrate a wide range of experience in graphic design with an excellent eye for detail.

  • Excellent typography and layout skills, with composition, colour and type.
  • Digital and mobilefirst mindset in design with guidance, showing awareness of competitive landscape and trends.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Able to quickly turn a brief into a creative concept.
  • An understanding of creative processes and art direction.
  • Strong management skills and the ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to understand technical and design constraints with display advertising for all usages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of how creative graphic design treatment can elevate a project.
  • Excellent organisation and presentation in working files.
  • Able to visualize concepts into storyboards or mood boards.
  • Ability to bring to life corporate presentations.
  • Strong team player willingness to share skills with the team
