This is an exciting time to join and lead Oasis Academy Silvertown.

The academy has recently moved into a brand-new building and has developed a track record of academic improvement founded upon an ambitious curriculum.

Oasis Academy Silvertown is a 'Good' Academy serving 11-16-year-olds in the heart of the Royal Docks, London. We are a co-educational, inclusive secondary school dedicated to transforming lives and learning.

ent**Currently the Academy has nearly 500 students on roll but now in its permanent building it will grow to 600. Students are able to flourish in an environment where lessons can be personalised to ensure that all abilities are catered for including supporting students who have the greatest developmental needs and challenging and extending those whose learning is developing at pace. Staff benefit from strong CPD and use a variety of teaching techniques to make sure that every student has the best start to their educational journey.

We do not expect you to do this alone.

You will enjoy the support and challenge of a Regional Director along with the wider Oasis Community Learning (OCL) National Team.

By being part of a family of 52


Oasis Academies, you will collaborate with expert leaders in their field and benefit from a strong support network and partnership with 7 other OCL secondary academies within the region.

You will have many opportunities to share best practice and drive continual improvement, including an annual regional conference, Regional Improvement Networks, and access to a growing CPD programme nationally.
