ROLE:
Gluing Operator


Location:
Newcastle Upon Tyne

Hours: 36 hours per week

They run a 3 shift pattern which includes nightshift


The pattern is:
Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday - Days 6 am till 6 pm, 4 days off

Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday-Nights 6 pm till 6 am, 7 days off

Thursday / Friday / Saturday - Days 6 am till 6 pm, 1 day off

My client are a leading provider of packaging and direct mail solutions and are looking for an experienced Gluing Operator to join their expanding team.


  • To operator a Signature high speed gluer / Hoson high speed gluer
  • Manage a team of 2 assistants


  • Various carton styles

  • Crash lock / straight line / 4 corner / 6 corner
  • To run the machine at high speed while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Clear communication at all levels
  • Clear documentation to BRC /ISOstandard required
  • Fault finding
  • Maintenance skills
