Reception SEN Teaching Assistant - ASAP Start

Are you interested in supporting SEN children, mainly those with Autism, Speech and Language needs, Challenging Behaviour and Learning Difficulties?_

If so, then look no further than our Reception SEN Teaching Assistant position

To thrive as a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, it's essential that you have:

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
Experience working with children with Speech & Language or Challenging Behaviour
Have a natural enthusiasm for working with young children
The ability to monitor and record a child's progress
An understanding of safeguarding children
A positive, caring, energetic, cando attitude

Duties include (but aren't limited to):

1:1 support with a child or small groups
Supporting the class as a whole
Assisting the class teacher
Fostering relationships with parents
Caring and looking after children during break times and lunch times
Supervising children during activities
Managing challenging behaviour
Motivating children and being an excellent role model
