Accounts Manager | £24,000 - £28,000 | Ince-in-Makerfield | Fast-growing SME | Family-like culture

Axon Moore are proud to be partnering with an enterprising SME in Wigan as they look to recruit for an Accounts Manager to join their friendly and dynamic team.

This business adopt a flexible and interchangeable outlook, hence, this role is well suited to proactivefinance individuals who are happy to gain exposure and help out across multiple aspects of the business.

There is also the strong likelihood that this role will develop into an 'Office Manager' role within 12 months.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Accurately processing supplier invoices in line with the agreed payment terms.
  • Accurately matching and posting invoices
  • Completing payment runs
  • Manage supplier statements and relationships
  • Collaborative work across departments
  • Resolving invoice queries with requesters and suppliers
  • Complex reconciliations
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Payroll duties (optional)
  • Adhoc duties

Desired/Required Skills and Experience:


  • An enterprising and proactive attitude
  • Able to work flexibly across numerous aspects of the business
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using Xero (desired)
  • Able to develop good internal and external working relationships
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workload
