Holiday Inn Express at The Racecourse, a part of the Chester Race Company group, are recruiting a full time, permanent Guest Services Assistant to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

This role has been designed to assist the Hotel Management team in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel and a providing a fantastic experience for guests in line with IHG and Chester Race Company brand standards.


The successful Guest Services Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing guest check in/ out process, upselling of rewards enrolments
  • Ensuring the smooth running of breakfast service
  • Booking, altering and cancelling guest reservations
  • Dealing with first stage of customer complaints
  • Ensure that all public and back of house areas are presentable, well stocked and clean
  • Running a night audit, preparing all relevant reports

The successful Guest Services Assistant will have the following skills / experience:

  • Previous experience of delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to use computers and booking systems
  • Commitment to excellent customer experience
  • Experience in a hotel role (preferred)
  • Experience of bar work (preferred)

Hours of work:

Working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

20:00-08:00


Salary:

£22,757 per annum
