An excellent opportunity within the semi-senior team of this local multi-partner firm with offices in Surrey and London.

This position will offer an individual the opportunity to work with clients and the senior team, focusing on general accounting work andclient management.

You will support both the seniors and partners within the firm giving you the ideal opportunity to learn. In time the role can grow if an aptitude for more is displayed.

Responsible for:

  • Accounts preparation
  • Client communication and management
  • Commentary on accounts for clients
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Liaison with the HMRC when required
  • Being a port of call when clients require assistance

Required Attributes and Exposure:

  • Two or more years in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of FRS standards
  • Knowledge of multiple accounting systems such as IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Exposure to Management Accounts is desirable
