Timeplan Education are currently working in partnership with a mainstream Norwich primary school with a specialist SEN inclusion unit within the school.
They have an exciting new HLTA position and are looking to recruit ASAPStarting immediately, the school is looking for an outstanding HLTA on a long term basis. You will be working with an exceptional team including a SEN Teacher and team of SEN Teaching Assistants.
The school is part of a trust and offer excellent opportunities for additional training and progression.
Your Role:
- Covering a range of lessons when the teacher is absent
- Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
- You will be assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities
What you will need:
- A range of behaviour management techniques
- To have worked with learners with a range of needs
- The ability to reengage a young person in learning through a range of methods
- To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
- A resilient attitude
