Our client is a property investment and management business, headquartered in Edinburgh and with operations in 10 University cities across the UK.

We help clients to invest in UK residential property, and then develop and manage those properties on their behalf, creating safe and affordable green homes which we rent to the student market.

We have a 25-year track record of helping clients from 40 countries to invest in some 3,000 properties worth around £1bn.

We have recently launched a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) which is a pooled fund that invests on behalf of a group of clients.

As an employer of 80+ staff, we have been accredited as Investors In People (IIP) since 2004, and we were awarded the IIP Gold Standard in 2021.

We aim to go carbon positive as a business in 2023.


The Role:

Seeking an experienced, high-functioning individual to manage a portfolio of circa. 120 clients.

Build client trust through an excellent client relationship, providing comprehensive service, and helping our clients achieve amplified return on investment.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Helping clients invest in a minimum of 8 properties per calendar month, via
  • Portfolio Reviews,
  • Corporate Hospitality, and
  • Client referrals
  • To manage all steps in the Portfolio process
  • To help and support the growth of the REIT.
  • Help obtain testimonials and client referrals from happy clients by delivering a firstclass service
  • Supporting Directors with new client meetings
  • Engaging all clients monthly. Provide monthly updates, articles, market reports etc.
  • Establish and onboard new clients via webinars, seminars and attending networking events
  • To help build trust and friendship for clients through firstclass service.
  • Resolve any client issues quickly, escalating to level 2 when required.

Skills and Capabilities:


  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Sales and service DNA.
  • First class oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent numeracy and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills, adaptable and able to deliver to agreed timescales and deadlines.
  • A proven ability to build relationships and interact confidently and sensitively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under your own initiative and contribute ideas to support continuous improvement.


This is a full-time role (working outside core business hours is required) and will be based at our head office in Edinburgh.


Key Success Measurements:


  • Help clients invest in a min 8 properties pcm.
  • Client retention 95% achieved through excellent service.

In return you will receive:
+ Salary range of £40-£50,000 with experience, with additional uncapped bonus opportunity (OTE £100k plus) + 22 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 years' service.
