Meraki Talent are supporting with the permanent appointment of a Head of Strategic Projects, Governance & Risk based in Edinburgh paying £60,000 - £65,000 plus a really competitive benefits package.

The Opportunity

As Head Head of Strategic Projects, Governance & Risk you will report directly the C-Suite team with constant Board interaction and reporting.

This role is a very varied role that will be responsible for:

Strategic reviews and reporting of all current, upcoming & proposed projects
Influencing strategy, direction and decision making through effecting business partnering & Board reporting
Ownership of governance, risk, controls and compliance
Working closely with BAU Finance, including interaction during internal and external audits
Assisting with the development of corporate services

***Although the BAU Finance is completely separate, it's important the successful individual is a qualified Accountant with core finance fundamentals. It's imperative the individual has a passion & experience of strategic activities and projects with exceptional stakeholder management skills including the ability to report directly to Board level with gravitas & confidence.

On Offer

The position of Head of Strategic Projects, Governance & Risk is based in Edinburgh with excellent flexible and hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).

The role will also offer:
- £60,000 - £65,000 base salary
