This is the perfect role for a Purchase Ledger Clerk who wants to work for a local business, get their head down but then leave work at the office at the end of the day


The company developed from small acorns over 50 years ago and enjoy success year on year yet still retain a family, close-knit feel amongst the business, especially the finance team.


You will never feel overworked or under pressure as there's 2 others in the Purchase Ledger team - every time the company grows significantly, they like to recruit or bring in additional heads rather than just pile more work on existing staff.


However, it's never boring and there's plenty of things to get stuck into In fact, one of the things that makes this such a good Purchase Ledger role is the variety.

You will be involved in each step of the process from invoice receipt through to payingsuppliers at the end of the month, so if having plenty of variety throughout the day is important this certainly ticks those boxes.


The CEO is completely involved in the company - in fact, he often pops into the office to make a brew round or have a natter with this team - this is something that has ensured high levels of staff retention throughout the years and something they're keento continue with.
