An exciting opportunity in our Ambulatory Care Unit "ACU" for an Technician has now become available.

The main duties of the role are:
To support the triage nurses with ECGs, blood tests, cannulas, catheters.

Enabling the nursing triage to operate in a timely manner.

Main duties will be taking bloods and inserting cannulas. Insertion of catheters. Completing ECG's.

The role of a Technician within the Ambulatory Care Unit "ACU" can be demanding and challenging, but also extremely rewarding for the right individual.


You will be met with a wide scale of patient needs, from GP patients through to patients being pulled up from the Emergency Department.


A band 3 Health Technician would be expected to work a 11.5 shift or 7.5 shift pattern including week days and bank holiday, being flexible as required.

We can offer both full time and part time permanent posts.

You would be required to support the clinical team, providing a wide range of duties for the patient and their families and to assist in the efficient management of the department.
