COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVER

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Collections and Delivery Driver to join our team. You'll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first class service with our team in Lochgilphead this role is based on abasic
_
45 -50hrshour week working Monday - FridaySALARY TO BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW. _

COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVERDUTIES:

Check the quality of packed orders
Manually unload and upload parcels for delivery (inc pallets)
Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
Ensure parcels are delivered or collected to/from residential and commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time
Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
Complete all documentation as per company procedure
Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
Adhere to company procedures and policies

COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years
No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
Physically fit to meet the demands of a multidrop driving role
Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
Great customer service skills
