Search Logistics are recruiting a Freight Forwarder to join one of their clients in Birmingham.

This Opportunity will best suit a experienced individual who has a background in Export / Imports and dealing with the Clearance of goods by Ocean, Air or road Freight (multimodal).

The Role:

Raise additional customs documentation to ensure the freight can move from

Use of Freight systems / understanding

Build effective relationships with 3rd parties and engage with Stakeholders regularly.

Great Knowledge of customs via Ocean, Air and Road

Import / Export Clearance

Dealing with HMRC Requirement

Ensuring Customs authorisation documentation are checked and correctly completed.

customs entries with accuracy and compliance

Worked in the Freight industry for 1 year +

Understanding of Road, Ocean, and Air

Flexibility, positive and outgoing attitude

Systems Understanding:
Cargo wise, TMS ,CDS, CHIEF, ETSF Knowledge
