Equi-Trek are the leading manufacturers of equestrian and leisure vehicles, supplying to the UK and overseas, based in Stocksbridge, S36.

An opportunity has arisen to join our Finance team as an
Accounts Administrator. We are looking for someone with some good
accounts experience although a formal qualification is not necessary.


Main duties/responsibilities:


  • A variety of accountsbased tasks but predominantly managing the credit control function, particularly monitoring debtor balances on a daily/weekly basis and chasing payment for balances falling due/overdue. Reporting on aged debtors on a weekly basis and updating the financial controller.
  • Sales ledger processing including raising sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Cash book postings and reconciliation. Posting and reconciling transactions from the bank statement on a daily basis.
  • Purchase ledger processing, posting purchase invoices received from suppliers, reconciling to GRNs where applicable.
  • General administration duties (scanning/filing etc.) and assisting with answering incoming calls for the department.

You will have/be:


  • A highly motivated selfstarter with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Some accounts experience ie. processing payments, posting invoices etc.
  • Good IT and administrative skills are essential.
  • Experience of credit control would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an excellent, confident telephone manner.
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail.


The hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch break - this role is fully office based with no option for remote working.
