About Our Client:

Our client is a not for profit organisation that have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months.

They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.

As the Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • To assist the Pensions Team Leader in the Pensions team, coordinating and assigning work, monitoring and reviewing the team's work and the operational day to day processing of the sections workflow, ensuring that all contractual and legislative responsibilities are fulfilled and all deadlines met.
  • Checking and reconciliation process of pension benefit calculations made by the Pension Administrators, ensuring that member records, for all schemes, hold accurate information.
  • Ensuring that all month end and tax, scheme and financial year ends and valuation processes are completed within the agreed timescales
  • Leading and coordinate the reconciliation and payment processes to pension providers, staff, pensioners and third parties to ensure that payments (month and year end and adhoc) are made on time and accurately.
  • Reviewing pension procedures and processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose and maximise efficiency, identifying and analysing problems and their impact, making recommendations for improvements where identified and implementing agreed change.
  • To maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant pension scheme rules and legislation matters. To provide support and guidance in the team's training needs to ensure that knowledge is disseminated effectively to the team, colleagues and staff.
  • Any other relevant duties as required.
