CNC Machinist - Openshaw, United Kingdom - Skilltech Resourcing
Description
We are looking for a CNC machinist with:
- A recognised qualification and have at least 5 years' experience working with large one-off's or small batch.
- Good communication, organisational skills alongside attention to detail.
- Positive attitude to following all health and safety guidelines.
- Previous experience of shift working days and nights.
- Previous experience using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
As a CNC machinist you will:
- Set and operate 3 or 4 Axis Vertical machining centres.
- Work from detailed engineering drawings.
- Modify and edit programs using Heidenhain controls.
This is a permanent position working on a 2-shift pattern Monday to Thursday - (week 1 days/ week 2 nights) and no weekend working, averaging a 37-hour working week.

Salary £32,000 inclusive of shift allowance.
