We are proud to be recruiting for an outstanding
Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in Oldham at a primary special needs school for young people with Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, PMLD and Severe Learning Disabilities, SLD.
- Early Years Teaching Assistant at a special needs primary school in Oldham.
- Starting ASAP on a full time basis.
- Monday to Friday 8:45am 3:30pm.
- Pay up to £85/day.
- Supporting in the Early Years department, ages 3
- Interviews taking place after May half term.
- You will need to support young people with care as well as learning.
- You will be working in groups of no more than 8 pupils at a time.
- Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to provide holistic support to your young people.
- Some pupils require personal care including toileting, changing and personal hygiene.
- Some require Moving & Handling support with wheelchairs and hoists.
- Most pupils are working on the Engagement Model of learning which focuses on 5 main areas: Exploration, Realisation, Anticipation, Persistance & Initiation.
- This is a primary special needs school for young people aged 311 with Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, PMLD and Severe Learning Disabilities, SLD.
